Client Awards
The Marketing and Outreach award honors a school who has creatively and effectively promoted their technological advances on campus. The winner has used a variety of marketing efforts to enhance the visibility and value of campus credentials, flexible payment solutions, or other technology initiatives.
New Client of Distinction award honors those schools new to the Transact family who have transformed their campus and student experiences through the deployment of innovative Transact products or services.
The Innovation award recognizes a school that actively promotes the widespread adoption of innovative technologies with the potential to provide superior student experiences, frictionless administrative workflows, or greater institutional intelligence.
The Student Experience award honors those schools whose technological innovations have markedly improved the total student experience. This includes addressing new and changing dynamics in fields such as student recruitment, engagement, and retention.

Recognizes a key individual integrator (a Transact partner associated with supporting our campuses) who has exemplified the characteristics of being a great partner: trust and respect, hard work, knowledge, responsiveness, client relations/support, and teamwork.

They installed hundreds of wireless locks, including in all residence halls, highlighting their commitment to a best-in-class student experience.
Southwestern Oregon Community College
Southwestern Oregon Community College has demonstrated exceptional dedication in deploying multiple Transact solutions, including Cashiering, ePayment, ERP integration, and more. Their proactive approach, willingness to learn, and commitment to collaboration ensured seamless implementations and set a new standard for client engagement and success.
University of Alabama
The University of Alabama’s Graduate Commemorative Card blends tradition with technology, offering graduates a $50 keepsake featuring the UA seal and graduate details. It offsets revenue lost from digital credentials while fostering alumni connections. Popular among online students, the card bridges digital and physical campus experiences, supporting UA’s mobile-first strategy.
University of Mount Olive
The University of Mount Olive rapidly deployed Transact Campus ID solutions and Cloud POS within a single semester, including Mobile Credential, eAccounts, and Online Photo Submission. Led by Richard Orr, the team’s responsiveness and dedication ensured a smooth rollout. Their outstanding execution of the TSE and Mobile Credential projects stands as a model for future implementations.
University of North Carolina at Charlotte
UNC Charlotte’s innovative marketing strategies drove significant adoption of the Transact Mobile Ordering App. QR code-tagged water bottles introduced the app during move-in, while a referral campaign and student rewards boosted engagement. Exclusive dining options and strategic QR code placements solidified the app as a must-have tool, positioning UNC Charlotte as a leader in campus tech.
Wayne State University
Led by Pat Beirne, a champion for innovation in campus payments, Wayne State is a pioneer in payment technology, enhancing the student experience through modern solutions. As a Sponsor Payments BETA client, they provide vital feedback that will shape future enhancements. Their ePayment portal is recognized as a model for other institutions, setting a new standard for seamless student transactions.
Wingate University
Wingate’s seamless technology ecosystem enhances student convenience, engagement, and security. In two years, they transformed student onboarding with TSE, Online Photo, Instant ID, Mobile Credential, and S2 door access with ACI. Cloud POS and Mobile Ordering streamlined meal plans and payments, while their video system integration with S2 ensures quick police response and strong campus safety.
