Transact among “Best Places to Work” honorees celebrated at 70s-themed event
December 16, 2022
A groovy time was had by all at the Phoenix Business Journal’s (PBJ) “2022 Best Places to Work” luncheon held on December 8, 2022. Nearly 700 people attended the '70s-themed event held at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa, which included a three-course lunch and some cool fashion flair from company attendees. Transact’s Phoenix office was a finalist in the “mid-size” category for the PBJ 2022 Best Places to Work.
A group of Transact’s Phoenix team members represented us at the event, donning their funkiest 70’s gear. Attendee, Wade Poezyn, Senior Digital Marketing Manager, fully embraced the theme, wearing a black shirt and bell-bottom pants with silver accents, sunglasses, and a super-curly hairdo.
“Attending the Best Places to Work celebratory luncheon was great because the energy was high, and the atmosphere was captivating. It was incredible to see all the cool outfits that everyone wore to the event. I’m honored to be a part of a company that was a finalist for the Best Place to Work award. See you on the flip side!” said Poezyn.
Opportunities for career growth, positive company culture, and individual recognition and appreciation were just a few of the reasons team members nominated Transact for the award. Here are some of the positive comments we received:
“In early 2021, when my last interview wrapped with Transact, I knew I had found a place where I my individual talents within HR would be appreciated and recognized. I also felt it was a place without judgment and to me that meant everything. Almost two years later, I still feel the very same!”
~ Jennifer Scanlin, Senior HR Generalist
“I have been with Transact over 17 years. In those 17 years I have learned a lot about different aspects of the company, I have been challenged and given an opportunity to grow with the company. The recognition I receive keeps me going!”
~ Johnny Ramirez, Documentation Specialist/Technical Writer
